We learnt that it is okay to share feelings and it is not bad to feel bad. You should talk about your feelings and not be afraid to show them.

Year 6 pupil

All of the children talked about the workshop the next day and enjoyed thinking about their emotions and that they can talk about them.

I liked it because it made you feel good about yourself...you don’t have to keep your feelings inside or hide it from everyone.

Year 6 pupil

I liked the bird and the bramble bush moments – it was so much fun!

It was outstanding. So well planned, prepared and great rapport built swiftly with the group. The children were highly engaged and thoroughly focussed on exploration of the themes. This was evident also during the follow-up continued exploration in class.

I loved the dressing up - it really brought the character alive!
Listening to the music and letting my stick pen do all the work was a real highlight -my pen went wild!
Flapping the blue sheets to create waves while watching the Tempest-o-meter was great fun!
The final catwalk was hilarious - I loved stomping down and showing my move at the end!

Year 4 pupils

Thank you so, so much for such a wonderful day! The children absolutely loved it - they were engaged, active, gained fabulous knowledge, built on confidence and so much more. It really was fantastic and you two clearly work brilliantly as a team together.
